Wang Xinting, Chairman of Shandong Swan Cotton Industrial Machinery Stock Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the event and delivered a keynote speech titled "The Current Situation and Prospects of Domestic Cotton Picking Machine Development," providing in-depth insights into the innovative development issues concerning domestically produced cotton picking machines, which are of great interest to the industry.

Throughout the 20th century, China faced a long-standing "bottleneck" predicament concerning cotton harvesting machinery. Cotton picking machines, particularly the more efficient and technologically challenging baling cotton pickers, involve specialized techniques across multiple fields, presenting high manufacturing barriers. Chinese cotton picking machinery manufacturers, exemplified by Swan Stock, have navigated decades of exploration and breakthroughs, successfully achieving the localization of box-type and baling cotton pickers and accomplishing a significant leap in the cotton picking machinery sector.

Swan Stock established a cotton picking machine project team in 2009 to initiate research and development of cotton picking machine. In 2019, it successfully produced its first six-row baling cotton picker, and by 2022, the company had achieved mass production and market promotion of self-developed cotton pickers. The domestically produced cotton picking machines have undergone localized design tailored to the specific conditions of Chinese cotton fields and driving capabilities, rendering them more suitable for local environments. The overall technological standards have reached international advanced levels, with certain aspects positioned at the forefront globally. In addition to progressively realizing domestic substitution, Swan Stock has also seized the opportunity presented by the "Belt and Road" initiative to expand its reach beyond borders, exporting Chinese-made cotton picking machines to countries such as Uzbekistan and Brazil, thus enabling overseas cotton farmers to utilize "Made in China" products.

The future of cotton production is set to become increasingly large-scale, intensive, and standardized. Swan Stock will continue to enhance its technological innovation and research and development efforts, introducing more efficient and stable cotton picking machines to surpass international first-class standards. The company aims to accelerate the phasing out and replacement of outdated cotton pickers, effectively cultivating a new productivity paradigm that propels the high-quality development of China's cotton industry. Simultaneously, leveraging the national "Belt and Road" initiative, Swan Stock will proactively expand its international presence, allowing more Chinese-manufactured cotton pickers, along with Chinese agricultural technology and the vision of mutually beneficial cooperation, to traverse global cotton fields, thereby contributing to the advancement of the world cotton industry.
